What Unpanic Collects
Unpanic stores the account, family, child profile, caregiver invite, subscription, and illness-log information needed to run the app. Logs may include temperatures, symptoms, medications, fluids, food, sleep, vomits, diapers, notes, photos, voice-derived entries, and caregiver attribution.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to show family timelines, sync entries across approved caregivers, generate read-only handoff views, operate subscriptions, secure access, improve reliability, and provide support. Unpanic is a logging and organization tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical advice.
Service Providers
Unpanic uses service providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, app diagnostics, payments, and customer support. Current integrations include Cloudflare, Firebase, Google Analytics, RevenueCat, Singular, and app-store payment platforms. Microsoft Clarity session replay is not linked into the production app.
Product analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and attribution are enabled as part of operating and improving Unpanic. These services receive app-interaction, device/app, diagnostic, and attribution information, plus an opaque account identifier used for cross-device attribution after sign-in. Unpanic's analytics event contract excludes child names, health-log payloads, voice transcripts, doctor-handoff links, and raw family or child identifiers.
Push Notifications
Push notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging and, on Apple devices, the Apple Push Notification service. Routine family-activity notifications hide child and clinical details by default; you can opt in to showing those details in Settings. Urgent red-flag alerts include the clinical alert so they remain actionable. You can disable push notifications in Unpanic or your device settings.
Sharing
Family information is shared with caregivers invited into the same family room according to their role. Doctor handoff links are designed to be read-only and time-limited. Unpanic does not sell family health logs.
Your Choices
You can control push-notification categories and sensitive preview text in Unpanic or your device settings. Product analytics and app diagnostics do not have a separate in-app toggle. You can delete your Unpanic account in the app; deletion unlinks and resets analytics state on that device and starts the account-erasure process described below.
Retention And Deletion
Family records are retained while an account or family room remains active, unless deletion is requested or required. To request deletion or export support, contact privacy@unpanic.us.
